Iain became apprenticed to his father, Riocard J Farrell in 1957. His father had set up his own Solicitors practice at George’s Street, Waterford in 1920. Iain and his father formed a partnership in 1966 and they called their firm “Farrell and Farrell”. They were joined in later years by our current managing partner Donal O’ Connell and the late Jim Mulhearn. They subsequently amalgamated with another Waterford firm, George A.
