Donal is the Managing Partner at Nolan Farrell & Goff and has been with the firm since its foundation. He became a partner in 1978. Gerard joined the firm as Assistant Solicitor in 1984, and has been a partner since 1991. Graham joined the firm in 1995 having previously been apprenticed in Dublin. He qualified in 1996 and worked as a Solicitor until 2004 when he became a partner. He acts for many large public bodies, including the Health Service Executive, and he also represents a wide variety of private individuals and commercial clients. He both prosecutes and defends cases in all courts. Graham mainly deals in litigation and court work, and has specific expertise in these areas:

Iain became apprenticed to his father, Riocard J Farrell in 1957. His father had set up his own Solicitors practice at George’s Street, Waterford in 1920. Iain and his father formed a partnership in 1966 and they called their firm “Farrell and Farrell”. They were joined in later years by our current managing partner Donal O’ Connell and the late Jim Mulhearn. They subsequently amalgamated with another Waterford firm, George A. Nolan & Co, Solicitors and formed the large firm of Nolan Farrell & Goff that we have today.
Iain has represented a wide variety of private and commercial clients and various public bodies over his long career. Most notably he has been the City Law Advisor to Waterford City Council since 1984 and for many years he was the Law Agent for the Port of Waterford. Mary joined Nolan Farrell & Goff in 1982 as a legal executive.
